My research interests to date are as follows: 1. tissue engineering , particularly cardiovascular and liver; 2. development of polymer and peptides and their application; 3. mechanical properties of cardiovascular system; 4. hepatobiliary and cancer pathophysiology with a particular interest in microcirculation and tissue oxygenation; 5. optical and methodology application to medicine.
