Professor Parviz A. Shamlou

Areas of Interest:
Interests lie at the interface between new life sciences and bioprocessing with emphasis on the creation of new approaches based on miniturization to aid discovery and to allow prediction of full-scale bioprocessing of advanced biologics including therapeutics genes, antibodies and cellular systems. More specifically, research is aimed at biophysical characterization of non-viral drug delivery systems, design of miniturized techniques initially for fermentation and cell culturing operations, bioprocessing engineering of vaccines and tissue-engineered vascular and skin grafts.
